A graduate of B. Voc. in Patient Care Management is an all-rounder for taking care of patients while considering his medical conditions. B.Voc degree in Patient Care Management is a work integrated program where enrolled candidates get the opportunity to complete their Bachelor of Vocation in Patient Care Management (B.Voc) degree at the workplace (Hospitals and Nursing Homes) with theoretical study supports offered at International Skills Academy, New Delhi.

The B.Voc. degree is offered by Tata Institute of Social Science, a NAAC A++ graded, Govt of India funded, Category 1 Institution in which you will study about managing patients with care, whether it’s an in-patient or someone in the out-patient department (OPD) or anywhere else in the hospital. Patient Care Management professional should have the capability to offer a range of services, which could be from pediatric care to geriatric care to cardiac care or care of cancer patients. They are trained to handle real-life healthcare situations.

Besides skills related to the personal care of patients, they should also know about the basic nursing procedures, ambulation of patients and handling of patients, storekeeping, proper disposal of biomedical waste, following the public health care regulations, knowledge of medical ethics and information technology as well as operations management etc are the primary roles in this profession.
